You asked for it, so here it is.
Ray Flowers puts together a list of how an ideal draft would go.
What players should be taken when?
How much should the players cost?
How to you judge when to take a starting pitcher versus a hitter?
The Draft Book assumes a 12-team baseline for a mixed league (it’s still applicable to 10 and 15 team mixed leagues though the dollar figures will be slightly different).
The rankings are based on 5×5 fantasy scoring
• Offense: AVG, HR, RBI, RUNS, SB
• Pitching: W, K, SV, ERA, WHIP
There are 25 complete rounds for a total of 300 players listed.
Each round is divided into a top half and bottom half.
Note that multi-position players are only listed in one spot. They are listed at the spot that their skills stand out the most (as an example Alex Bregman is listed at SS and not 3B).
Each half round includes $ values for those of you who are in auctions so you get a solid range of how much cash you should be spending on said player (even if they do not exactly match the player rankings list).
Finally, note that this was produced on March 5th, 2019. If a player is injured, traded, signed after that date, an adjustment on your board would be necessary.
